I was watching a video from E-day  and Mr.Riedel really have confirmed this. To my surprise, he told the audience, that Whirlwind is missing just small parts to be finished, and they will produce Sea Fury as well, because it is very close to Tempest Mk.II and they have a lot of requests from all over the world.

Is this video available on-line? Thanks

Thank goodness for Special Hobby and their choices. I read that the production run of the Hi-Tech version of the Tempest V is now gone, although the regular boxing is still available.

The Sea Fury will be extremely welcome, and an injection moulded version of the Typhoon is fantastic news. The Whirlwind will also make many people happy here. It's not at the top of my list but still I know it's been requested for a long time.

Bad times for the wallet though.

Well, I know I'll be setting aside cash for all 3.

So nice to finally have a new plastic 1/32 Typhoon on the horizon. I already have the Airfix 1/24, which is GREAT.... but it doesn't really fit in a lineup with my other 1/32 stuff.

With the Fly Hurricane lineup and Special Hobby covering the Typhoon/Tempest/Sea Fury... I can finally do a decent amount of Hawker stuff in 1/32. I wonder why Hawker is so unloved by the more 'mainstream' plastic producers though.

Now a Whirlwind will definately persuade me to open up my wallet and clear my bench immediately, I was that desperate for one that I built a 1/48 kit of one, Classic Airframes I think.

Cheers

Dennis

I had the same kit, and it was very nice indeed. The resin was quite well done.

Well, I am very happy about these, yes sooner rather than later would be nice but, if they are all going to follow along the lines of the Mk.V Tempest I can wait, and my wallet can certainly wait, to space the purchases out a little. We already know that the Mk.II tempest is not far off so that is great.
