ruzlkampf
Last pic of this build. Looks kinda neat when I rotate it, and all the paint-chipping pops in/out with the light. As 'Rain-Man' would say, "it's very sparkly,...definitely sparkly." Wanted to get a pick of this with the prop rotating and a cloud of prop-wash and palm trees behind it,...but all I managed to do with my 'creative photography' was blow dirt all over the model with the blowdryer. Meh, maybe next time? Really enjoyed this build, and got the 'grrr' effect with the pilot that I wanted. Time to move on to the FRANKenstein build, and try another paint-chipping effect out. I did this one with my so-called 'hen pecking method' of just dappling silver wherever the mood took me. Coulda been worse, but all builds just turn out like they're going to in the end. Thanks for the interest and following along, and to LSP for allowing us to have a place we can all gather and have a lotta FUN at! This thread is now a part of history; BYE!!!!! THE END. big matt
Wow Russ! I really like it. That pilot looks mad and is looking for vengeance. The chipping is great but the green on the aluminum really is nice. Great job! Matt
