mywifehatesmodels
Very impressive, so far, Jerry. How much of it is from scratch? John
JRutman
Very impressive, so far, Jerry. How much of it is from scratch? John The torso and arms were mine. The rest is from dragon. I included a pic that is much better here(fair use please) Here is a little more progress on the first dude. I modified the dragon hat and gave him a hornet left hand. The other dude has a Alpine head and hornet hands. I took a dragon figure down to no detail with a dremel and will build the new uniform on top of it. The sledge hammer is AFV club. It really gets me how young these guys were. Figuring the casualties of LSSAH in Normandy/Falaise it is safe to assume most if not all of these guys did not survive. A microcosm of the young men of WWII? I love the sad sack look of the guys and the missing front towing pintle with the tow hook attached to the open final drive hatch.

LSP_K2
I'll be looking forward to this Jerry, I always did like the Panzer IV. I've been contemplating a Panther from Das Reich during the battle of the bulge, getting ambushed by Shermans.

JRutman
Small up date on the panzer dudes. I think I got them a little closer to the original picture now. I have to correct myself though as it is a PanzerIV H late production tank and not a J.
