Troy Molitor
Outstanding representation of a P-47 Mike. Oh wait a second, is that a fillet tailed P-51D you got going on there? Humor! Looking fantastic. Carry on. My work space resembles your early picture of your work bench on page one. I seriously need to clean mine up today. MikeMaben
Thanks Andy , not totally happy with the seat cushion. Made it out of modeling clay and it got messed up over time with all the handling and seat belts. Will us Apoxie Sculpt next time. Like I said , not all that visible once buttoned up. monthebiff

MikeMaben
Done with most of the gluing. Still gotta get the K-14 gunsight set back into the IP coaming so I can attach the windshield. Should be able to spray soon. monthebiff, MikeC, williamj and 5 others

MikeMaben
Finally all silvered up. First , all white MRP fine surface primer... Some MRP Silver all over (forgot to take pix ) Then some modulated filtering with White Ensign RLM 65 and 66. I wanted some grey and blue filtered in to help eliminate uniformity. After that some MRP Duraluminum to blend the filter colors. Some Alclad Dull Aluminum for the silver paint on the wing top and bottom ... Next I'll hit the surfaces with some fine sanding to blend the filter colors tho I don't want it super reflective all over. Looking OK so far. (despite the crappy pix). Out2gtcha
Looks great Mike. Modulation like that is always hard for me to pull off. I always end up blending too much and all my hard work goes for not. MikeMaben
