Grant_T
Brilliant! I love the weathering. Worn but not over the top. That was definitely my intention with this one. I do sort of want to build something really beat up at some stage though. Out2gtcha
Out2gtcha
That was definitely my intention with this one. I do sort of want to build something really beat up at some stage though. I found that is by far and away the best way to get really decent at weathering. I did that exact thing on my Rufe, with just about every weathering technique I could muster involved. Although technically not accurate for the exact airframe, it was an exercise in new (to me) weathering techniques that taught me a lot about application and presentation. It was not a wasted effort. Heavy weathering is not always accurate, but experimenting with it can yeild a lot of good things. Daniel Leduc and Grant_T
Stormer
What a beast!! Seeing your build it makes me want to start on my own. I thought about showing off the engine, but its really more impressive when closed. I think you hit the nail weathering wise, though I think the main wheels could do with a little dusting. Grant_T
though I think the main wheels could do with a little dusting. I think you're probably right. I might have to revisit that.
