aircommando130
That is one good looking Razorback! Amazing work with all that masking and painting. I may have to break down and try a NMF finish....F-104A. May have to pick up a Trumpy P-47 Razorback too!

Collin
Terrific progress. Soon there will be another Trump Razorback finished on the boards. Maybe yours and my build can fly around looking for some bridges to blow up. Cheers Collin

Vynce804
Hi All, I have had a little time over the weekend to dedicate to the thunderbolt. First up was a lot of chipping done with a silver prismacolor pencil. Then after a gloss coat time to apply various washes, dark brown from ak and custom green and grey from my oil paints. It's quite therapeutic which is a good job because the washes took an entire day! Unfortunately the washes toned down the chipping quite a bit so may go back and touch them up. The model also now has a name courtesy of the Hasegawa p51 decal sheet.CheersMatt Iain, MikeMaben, LSP_Kevin and 2 others

Troy Molitor
Stunning, awesome, suburb efforts all fit the topic of this build. Certainly looks the part. A brilliant one of a kind, P-47 Razorback. Thanks for sharing your build with us. Troy
Vynce804
Hi All, The Thunderbolt is finally finished! Attached are a couple of pictures and I'll posted some more on ready for inspection. It came together quite quickly in the end and after the washes i did a little subtle oil shading and a little streaking on the underside and then finally got all the sub assemblies together and final unmasking. Thanks for all the kind words and encouragement it really helped to get me through the challenging bits of this model....so what to build next?
