Nah, got a couple more pics on my good camera. Gotta put them on the computer, edit, upload...

I've never been a fan of closed up tight. I like canopy open, flaps down, gills open, etc. but the model apparently gets handled and things break.
That tail hook might not be long for this world then.

Well we had a few setbacks from Mother Nature deciding to dump 6 months rain on us in 4 days, but in the end, she was finished and I can honestly say that doing this yellow bird was the most fun of all the T-28s I've built.

There were a few issues along the way, but most were man made by me.

I truly hope Glen at Kiity Hawk Models gets as much enjoyment showing this model as I did building it. (A little secret is that another almost identical version for me is already getting the cockpit/engine/nose gear bay fitted to the fuselage)
Mine will be dirtier. Glen likes clean, but I like dirty birds.

I'll have a few good RFI pics coming if I ever have time to download my wife's camera from Friday.

Looks good, Ernie! I assume since it is for Glen that it is box stock?

Box stock Ray.
Glen gave me license on scheme to backdate the kit decals a bit to more accurately depict an in service bird.
Other than that, box stock.

He wanted CLEAN, so no maniacal pre or post shading, crazy washes, etc, not that that's my style anyways. I gave it a light to medium gray basic light wash in spots, and even that I pulled back some.
No oil slicks or big exhaust stains although a bit of oil stain around cooling flaps just to show there's life in there.

This kit's like a 109. You could build them 10 years straight and never stop having good schemes to model.
