Thanks for the compliments ! The hull was hand carved from wood, and the deck structures made from sheet styrene, brass, and aluminum. A stanchion master was made and duplicates cast in metal. Small diameter stainless steel stranded cable used for the safety railing. The upper bridge railing was made with brass tubing and tissue was used to form the canvas wind break. Props were made from brass, and everything on her was scratchbuilt. Here is a cropped photo that I think looks as though it were taken in 1943 ! - Joe
