Bill Cross
Are the interior of your intakes black? No, white. I have seen them rendered beige, too.
Barry
No, white. I have seen them rendered beige, too. Bill, The one photo showing where you had painted the interior black was what I was basing the question on. I could not tell in the follow on photos if they were still back or not. White is correct; beige "looking" color was the result of ageing and staining of the white from all the wiping down with oil dampened rags. To my knowledge they have never been any color than white. Build is progressing nicely! Barry Edited June 8, 2014 by Barry Bill Cross

Bill Cross
Thanks, guys, especially Barry for the clarification. I'm not the best at photographing my various stages, so this thing will sorta jump onto the screen, lol!

Bill Cross
Thanks, Gents. The fit of the wing roots is proving problematical. This kit isn't nearly as nice as Tamiya's Corsair.
Bill Cross
Steady progress. Wing root fit is poor. Still having problems with it "taking" even after several glues & fills. Cockpit is sorta dull with so much flat black, but.... Resin seats aren't so bad after all: As Porky Pig always says, "Th-th-that's all, folks!"
