Pretty happy with the way it came out.  I may or may not build a base for it as I have already been distracted by the next project but I sure had fun :D

I hope you guys like it.

Dan

Nice piece.  Excellent texture to the weathering.

Sincerely,

Mark.

Dan,

Great job!  Love the detritus on the fenders.  Nice touch!

Very cool tank Dan!  Like I said in Gaz's thread: I think tanks are interesting but the models of them are very intimidating to me personally.  These Meng kits are a great way to avoid the complexities of a scale tank build. (Speaking of me personally, Dan, not you!)

A big thank you for your great comments I'm so happy folks seem to like these little critters.  Every time I get one of these kits it is an excuse to have fun, try new things and generally muck about.  No end of the mayhem you can get into with these little guys, and cheap too :)

Gaz - Like I said, ya get to they new things without any worry you might mess up ;)

John -  With your mad skills you have to treat yourself to one, or two....

Hope to try out the Panzer III soon and Meng released a Panther and Firefly!!!  Oh boy what fun awaits later this year and I still haven't got my hands on a Tiger II

It's about this time of year I start to think of Model Expo and if I have anything to offer up to the modelling gods.

Spent the day bashing out a base for this one.  Just some tiny bits to fix ( Gotta love the close up pictures to bring on the Doh! moments  ) and she should be okay to show in public.

I tried something a little different in that I wanted a wavy edge to the groundwork.  Not 100 percent but I'll do better next time :innocent: .  I do like the way I got the tracks to set into the ground but need to work on that too.

Thanks for looking in.

Dan
