Hi all,

Now that this GB has two extra months to go,I'm going to start another balsa model.

Also entering this in the BoB groupbuild I'm hosting on Britmodeller.

The boxart is ofcourse wrong.AFAIK no Mk I's had four cannons.

This is the one I'm going for using Airfix decals.

Just finished covering the whole wing with 1,5 mm balsasheet.

Note the still square leadingedge and blocks on the wingtips. After filling the seams with Revell Plasto and much sanding this will all be nice and round.

You do a very nice job with these balsa models, Erwin. You must really like to sand stuff. Do you buy sandpaper in bulk?

Erwin,

I love to see the balsa kits, if it wasn't for these kits I would have never tried to kitbash or build from scratch
as a kid.... I WISH YOU THE BEST ON YOUR BUILD(S).... and remember BALSA FLIES BETTER! ;)

Ready for painting.

Coated it first with grey to see where I had to do some more filling.

I know the exhausts ere not correct. But they are the only ones (from the Typhoon kit)that come close to 1/28 th scale.

I will also use the LG parts from the Typhoon kit.
