Noob here, wishing to convert the Revell mustang

I am 100% right. A "B" would need a whole new mould. If you can "see" something in this kit that "hints" at a "B", you are looking in the wrong place.

You're probably right . l went with my personal obervations

 

Sure a whole new mold would be necessary but molds are made

from cad/cam drawings from which a B mold could be made with

relatively few adjustments.

 

The later D should be close to being ready to market.

Like l said we get a later D and may never see a B. Much like their Spitfire they did the Mk II skipped the Mk V and went straight for the Mk IX  We wont see a Mk V from them either
