I'll tell you what.

I've had that stuff drip down my back during a preflight, and all thoughts of recreational mouth to mouth are quickly lost when you're dancing not for joy.

So we have some concerns.
I've taped together the bomb bay after installing the Eduars PE bomb bay set, and let's face facts here: it looks bare.
Earlier I had decided against going the Full Brian with wires, hydraulics, winches, etc., but now, since I'm using frag bombs, which are tiny little cluster bomb units, and since they mount to the same bomb rails as the 1000lb. big boys, even if I use 4 or 5 clusters per side, that'll still leave an awfully light load with a yawning, gaping, empty hole of a cargo area staring at anyone willing to look. So unless the Marines tossed them out the doors or slung them under the wings, these few light with plenty of gas and ammo.

Now the dilemma:
That work light is crying out to be enhanced, and I think we'll need a bomb crane. Sigh... Plus... Piping and electrical. Ahh fuc... Umm, Fudge. :)
This is becoming a real government Make Work Project.

Yeah, I see those nasty gaps on the bottom and they look hideous. I'll fix that right quick.

I like the term going "Full Brian" :), but Ernie few wires can be added belatedly and some lens of proper size can solve the light problem. then some nice wash and it's almost Full Brian :)

It would be nice match to your already awesome cockpit.

OK, I learn slowly, but eventually I learn. So yes, there is hope.

Lesson learned: Don't fold the edge PE down as they'd have you do in the Eduard instructions.
The reason?
You get goofy gaps like I got,..... AND.....
The bomb bay fit's INSIDE the fuselage, even on the bottom, and that would hide the beautiful rivets along with making a big fit problem.

So, off the edge pieces came. Yes, I borked them up and I'll get a new bomb bay set from Squadron tomorrow. I'll just leave the edges off till the fuselage is together..
In the meantime, out comes the copper and lead wire, and let's find us an MV lens.....

Thanks John, I took yours (and others) hints on Corsairs, and am building one mostly OOB, no build thread, no completion date, just a useful pop off valve on my boiler in case of PE and strip styrene overload.
The PE and extras get annoying on an HK kit if you want to build to the standard we build to on this site.
That's not saying it's a bad kit, it's a great kit actually, and OOB with props and wheels will give you an outstanding 5 footer.
But here on LSP, we strive to improve our game, we want more, much much more, so onward we go.
