The worst thing about the SAC gear is them using the SAC emblem on their packaging. What a dishonor to SAC! How they remain in business has got me stumped.

Maybe their business plan is to get lots of people to buy one.

Yes but into a shiny blob which gives off that smell if you've ever done a bit of electrical repair..I bet they use solder as the main ingredient when they're casting

 

I would expect them to be using commercial whitemetal rather than messing about with their own mixes. It's easier

I was going to say...................I thought you meant poor, as in poor choice of metal where strength is needed VS just poor quality metal in general. More "poor" metal as in a poor choice
