Gentlemen,

may I invite you to my first WIP.

Subject is one of my favorite planes - the Fiat G.91 R3 from Italian manufacturer Dayglo models.

First - let´s see what`s in the box:

Model comes in a very attractive box

A lot more of well packed parts....

And some etched parts as well:

Some fine clear parts

Early and late style canopy

Decal sheet - YES, there is just one Option...

last but not least - the instructions

So far, so good? Yes, because the parts look fine and there seem to be no serious problems building this little fighter bomber.

No, because some things are missing to be a fighter bomber: RIGHT - the weapons!

Doing a little research and finally get sets of a pair of LAU-51 rocket pods and a set of Matra 25 ED bombs, both from Wingman models.

Next thing are some more marking options. Decals in the kit look fine, well printed and the colours look perfect too. But it´s just ONE option for the Bundesluftwaffe.

Asking Harald from Hahen decals http://www.hahen.de/epages/64625185.sf/de_DE/?ObjectPath=/Shops/64625185/Categories if he would do a sheet from his 48th range for my 32nd Gina,

which he did the moment I asked that for. Two weeks later I received a sheet providing me much more options - thank you very much Harald!

In the meantime Harald did an update on this sheet and this offers some more markings.

This really does look like an excellent kit - have watched it come together on their Facebook page - but your photos are *really* useful!

Really looking forward to seeing your build come together.

...very cool..., where can I buy this bird...?

Chris,

writing to Luca from Dayglo models:

dayglomodels@yahoo.com

Price was 170 € including shipping.

As far as I heard from him he is doing the 3rd batch of this kit at the Moment - seems to be a success he was dreaming of....

Asked him also, if he is planning the 2seater T.3 as well. First was "No", next times was a "Maybe"...

Keep my finger crossed!

Your are a man with a plan! And a plane :wicked:

Nice to see one coming together. Very rare kit, indeed. Happy modelling!

BTW, I know that Lingen is not a suburb of Munich, but if you want to show it at the Euro Model Expo next year this would be very welcome!

In case you are not member of a modelling club and looking for a dry and cosy club booth to drop in just send me a PM  :coolio:

Regards
