Brent
OK Gang! Here is the very humble beginnings of my scratchbuild project. The plans were printed out to 1/32 scale. Then I made patterns that were rubber cemented to .010" styrene sheet. the parts have been embossed. (That's why they are warped like that!) The wooden wing core has been made. The contrast is poor, so you can't see the rib detail. Having some crud in my phone's camera lens doesn't help. This is being done using methods outlined in St Harry's scratchbulding how-to book. I know it isn't very exciting now but I'll have more later! mozart, BradG, TorbenD and 6 others

Brent
The project stalled out. My oldest nemesis: time! I built the wing three times. I'm struggling to heat and wrap it around the wood core successfully. I score and heat the wing as I'm wrapping it around the core. However there is a sweet spot in the temperature range. If I get a little too hot the wing is ruined... I will keep trying. ß! Alain Gadbois and Gazzas
