dmthamade
Joining in with the Trumpeter ME 262 as the aircraft flown by the old comic character Hans Von Hammer. I remember reading the Enemy Ace comics as a youngster. Always made an impression on me. I know there are comics showing the Hammer flying the 262, i'll be using my imagination on the paint. Will be red overall, but will add white fuselage stripe, possible white front on the engine cowls. Hardcore
The artist Joe Kubert could make the concept convincing imo. It seems he only did WWI?
dmthamade
Lotsa memories from the DC comics WW2 series. Enemy Ace, Sgt. Rock and Haunted tank filled many idle hours of my childhood. This should be a fun GB, lots of different ideas. I've built the 262 kit before, has a few challenges but turns out OK. I didn't do a in box pic but have started doing small stuff, wheels, flaps/rudder/horizontal fins. Won't be adding the complete engines, just the front and rear faces. marauderdriver
I was always a Sgt.Rock fan, Ice Cream Soldier was my favorite name. How can you go wrong with Ice Cream? A Red 262? The Red Baron of WWII, Wonder what Snoopy would have flown? jack Harold
LSP_K2
I'm sort of a major war comic book fan myself. Harold
