Darren Howie
Excellent news there is a fleet of great markings and schemes for Yaks. Hopefully the flood gates will open.

D Bellis
Excellent news there is a fleet of great markings and schemes for Yaks. I'd love to see that, given that the Yak-3 was only in service for less than 11 months at the end of WWII and all of them were delivered in either gray & gray over light blue, or just gray over light blue... I'll still get one and build it. But, I'd have picked up several if only it were a Yak-1/7/9 kit. The -3 has very little in common with those earlier, more colorful, longer-serving Yaks that were built in far greater numbers. So, Yay! Bummer. Royboy
I guess they'll emerge in time. If we can get a manufacturer interested, perhaps we might get some more Russian twins in the future too? I'd love a Pe-2 , Tu-2 and Il-4 in 1/32 scale, here's hoping one day? The Yak 3 will be very welcome, I'll probably have a couple of them to add to my HB Sturmovik. Roll on!! Tony T
Definitely in for this. Funnily enough, the pale blue plastic is also wonderfully reminiscent of 1/72 VVS models I built as a child forty-five to fifty years ago. Tony
Darren Howie
Hopefully a Yak-9 etc isn't far away. Love those Russian blue and grey camo schemes! Tony T

D Bellis
I just hope this kit doesn't end up essentially being vaporware like their Tempest. Never read that thread until just now because the subject doesn't interest me, but then I saw that the thread has been going for almost 2 years and still no Tempest! Oh boy...
