There must be at least half a million tiny "no step" stencils. They're eveywhere. How are you supposed to work on the plane if you can't walk on it? Maybe I should walk on it!!?? Oh boy, do I know what you mean! The stencil set I got for my Phantom from Hobbydecal include every panel number. Not to mention the regular stencils on a hi-viz Navy bird. And they're dry transfer. Allok Posted November 16, 2007 Author Share Posted November 16, 2007 Good news. I've managed to chew my way through the majority of the decals and now I'm resuming work on the gear bay doors. The Aussie Decals seem to stick like poo to a blanket. You really have to make sure the decal is in the right spot before padding out the water 'cause you can't shift 'em afterwards!. The nav lights are from Novascale (also very sticky). I have decided that the fuel tanks I purchased from Roberts models are not going to be suitable for what I want to do so I ordered some different ones that might work a little better. Hopefully, they'll arrive before the end of the GB. Cat keeps drinking the water from the decalling bowl!!! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Gear, bay doors and ladder attached; Canopy in the dipping case, tanks on their way from Roberts Models (Hopefully) and all the other bits and pieces sitting on the work bench. Luckily, I was able to avoid any "out-of-scale weathering" by taking a step back from the kit for a while and consuming a modest portion of my favorite Draught.
