Tony O
HAs anyone ever done PSP or other temporary landing strip stuff in 32nd? Would any aftermarket folk consider doing some in a modular slot together form and would it be useful to other modellers? scribing, drilling and slotting a sheet of styrene would seriously damage any remaining sanity I have left. My Bodney Mustang needs something to sit on. cheers Tony
Craig361
Tony, I used something for some drywall repair that might work. Some company makes a patch for repairing holes in drywall. It's aluminum, comes in a couple of differant sizes and has rows of holes in it. It is flat but it should be easy to scribe some joint marks in it with a scribe. When I bought it for the repair job I thought about the PSP possible use but just haven't thought to buy another sheet when at the store. Take a look for it, it looks close enough to work in 1/32 or 1/24 scale.
LSP_Ray
Flightpath ( http://www.djparkins.clara.net/fltpath/fpmaster.htm ) has 1/32 and 1/24 scale PSP in PE.
Tony O
cheers for the info, the drywall stuff sounds like a good excuse for a wander through the hardware! I'll also have a look at flightpath, although I always considered their stuff a mite expensive. TX Tony
