I have the occasional use for Milliput but it keeps going hard and yesterday I opened two packets and both of 1 of the sticks were hard and could not be kneaded. So I decided to stick the two sticks together, place in plastic bag, place in Microwave for 15 seconds. Took it out and could be kneaded easily and once applied was set up in about 3 hours flat. I drilled , sanded and polish all within 4 hours of applying. I think the heat from the Microwave sped up up the curing time as it usually takes about 24 hours.

I hope this helps someone out as the stuff is not cheap to buy.

Oh, and only put in the Microwave what you want to use. After it's nuked it will all set up.

Maxim.

Great tip!   I keep my MP in a sealed bag inside the box it came in which seems to help a little, but never fully prevents it from hardening off. This will be handy for sure. Thanks!

It always seems to be the white stick in the packet that goes hard.
