I'm still undecided on exactly which a/c I'll model this time but I am getting started on painting the interior pieces. I've used this method for a long time and it cuts down on the time needed to paint the individual parts when assembly gets underway. Salmon Pink, Dull Dk. Green and Black applied.

excellent - will follow - like the markings choice....

I gotta get one of these Corsair kits someday - had one once but sold or traded it at the time - bad decision!

The Tamiya Corsairs, all 3 versions issued so far, are some of the best kits I've ever built. Excellent!

Good start John!

Don't you get sick of building the same thing again and again?

What do you use to get the salmon pink?

Edit**  I see Rustoleam make it, will get it at my local Builders Warehouse. One can should be enough for about 50 Corsairs.....wait, what did I just say? 50!!!

I mixed it using my Mk.1 eyeballs a while back. RLM 23 is a good starting point.

MRP also makes a Salmon primer color, as well as some others that are often custom-mixed - dull dark green, bronze green

Good to know. I always use enamels. Never really could warm up to acrylics.

MRP paints are acrylic lacquers, like Mr. Color or Alclad.
