Although I'm not adverse to smearing putty, it does look like you've made this viable solution for sure!

Looks like to me that a clean connection to the fuselage behind the wing could be the most challenging area of the build. I thought maybe the Tamiya wing would escape injury. Nice work.

Thanks Rick. I think you mean the Revell wing don't you? Just a small amount of trimming was needed. 99% of the trimming was on the base of the scoop where it's really not very visible after the scoop is attached to the wings.

Nice work and the fit is superb.

Never tried Alclad Micro Filler and primer but as of late I've been using AK's Microfiller and Primer. Most like close to the same and a pleasure to use.
