Collin
Hasagawa 1/72 OOB. This was an impulse build for me, and I learned a few things about masking and taking your time finishing a kit. And as always, I relearn to walk away from the model after you put decal setting solution down. Great kit overall. I was going to leave the engine pods off and attach them after the kit was painted, but the gaps were too large and I needed to work those before painting. Markings are a miss-match of kit and aftermarket to make it look like a bird from VAQ-133. Only real issue I have with this is the phantom "things" that somehow got into the cockpit (dust and bits of plastic I think). They weren't there when I put the canopy on a week or so ago...and yet there they are. Oh Well, it will look good in the display case, which now I have to buy one for work. If you find one of these kits and don't have one in your stash... recommended as a fun build. Cheers Collin
