JamesHatch
Hi all, I really do wish HKM had done the Do 335A-12 first, but hey ho! At least I got the chance to build two of the previous versions and I loved them. Today, I received two test shots in the mail, for the future Anteater version of the Do 335, and I'm pretty stoked. Work starts soon. The kit is pretty much the same as the fighter version, but for two different sprues. One is the grey one you see here, and of course a clear sprue (not photographed). This is only a test shot too, and some refinements need to be made to things, but it is eminently buildable, and I'll do this for Military Illustrated Modeller. Here you also see the box art that was done by some friends of mine. They are working on the decals and instructions at the moment. HK will first release the B-6 night fighter, and then it's the turn for this beauty! CANicoll, Mebo, Piprm and 3 others

Dave Williams
But, but, people supposedly in the know claimed that HK had shelved their two-seater after Z-M released their kit. Rick Griewski and JamesHatch
LSP_Kevin
But, but, people supposedly in the know claimed that HK had shelved their two-seater after Z-M released their kit. Not shelved - delayed, and rescheduled the B-6 in its place. Kev
JamesHatch
But, but, people supposedly in the know claimed that HK had shelved their two-seater after Z-M released their kit. Yup. Same applies to the Ju 52.
Artful69
Yup. Same applies to the Ju 52. Well that's news to me! ... I hadn't heard of any so called "shelved" or "cancelled" plans for the Ju.52 anyway ... lol Just knowing the amount of time needed to develop a kit from concept to retail, I didn't expect it, any real news of it, or the P.51B for at least another 2-3 years. Just goes to show how out of the loop I am ... I've missed the announcements of the prophets of doom!! Rog alaninaustria
ade rowlands
Had the heavy fighter version, sold it on and regretted it ever since. Especially now when I see the cost of replacing it now. I am tempted by the latest 2 versions but torn between which one to get, room for one only. Unless I can come across a cheap B-2 version or trade for one. There's just something about this aircraft that appeals and I don't know what it is. alaninaustria
alaninaustria
So, for those in the know... can we still expect a 1/32 P-51b and Ju-52 from HKM? Cheers Alan Rick Griewski

Paul2660
Looking forward to both the HK A12 and B6, ZM and the clear plastic is just not what I want to work with. I am hoping that ZM won't continue with that on newer releases that they have stated are coming. Clear is OK for parts of the airframe, but the entire kit made from it, is adding a bit of difficulty IMO. Clear is just harder to work with for me, especially large pieces. Love ZM's stuff, but just not the massive clear plastic parts, keep it light grey please. Also Kudos to the HK box art it keeps getting better and better, loving this one for the A12. Rick Griewski
I like trainer ac too but I already have the ZM kit. One hump back Do-335 is enough for me. Rick
