LSP_K2
One really decent reference I have for the M1 Garand (and completely overkill), is this splendid Osprey volume.
mustang1989
You've got your work cut out for you on this one Kev. That thing would be sensory overload for me.
LSP_K2
You've got your work cut out for you on this one Kev. That thing would be sensory overload for me. I find it to be quite relaxing, Joe. As soon as I finish the cab, I'll be ready for final assembly and paint (I think). mustang1989

LSP_K2
OK, looks like this particular base is not going to work, as it's too small. I had a larger one, and I'd assumed it was here somewhere, but I have no idea where. Looks like another trip to Hobby Lobby is in my future. I also haven't figured out if I want to go urban, or rural for the final display. mustang1989
mustang1989
Choices , choices, choices........ Whatever it's gonna be and if it's even half as good as that Dodge Charger build you had going on, it should turn out awesome!! LSP_K2

LSP_K2
See that thing in the top left of the last pick? getherdone! LOL The George? Oh yes, it's not been forgotten, not at all, Ron. I'll be working on both tomorrow and Sunday. Choices , choices, choices........ Whatever it's gonna be and if it's even half as good as that Dodge Charger build you had going on, it should turn out awesome!! The Charger was looking pretty good at that, Joe, at least in my opinion. It (or my '70 Challenger T/A), will be finished for our show here in September (I hope). mustang1989

LSP_K2
Love what you're doing. Never leave home without it. Sincerely, Mark That one has been on my list to get, along with two others. By the time I get around to any of the three, this model will be long finished. I'm tentatively planning another though, so who knows.

LSP_K2
Looking good Kevin! Can't wait to see next step. Thanks. I'm planning to get the cab assembled tomorrow. I had intended to do that today, but that didn't happen. CANicoll
LSP_K2
As intended, my goal for the day was to get the cab assembled, and now I have. Canvas cover was given a lighter shade of OD, but I might repaint it with a khaki color. Joe66 and CANicoll
