Same here minus the snowed in part. We got lucky on that and only have had two grazings of snow, with just and inch or less for each. However we are in a winter deep freeze warning ad are at -2F here with wind chills about the same as yours.   Its freaking BITTER cold out! How it is supposed to be +50F here on Friday is beyond me!!!   A 52 deg swing in under 3 days seems a bit incredible but I wont have any issues with it if it does happen!

Stay safe guys!

Welcome to Chicago weather. I spent two weeks in Chi town last month. Weather was moderate, a surprise for Chicago. When I got back home in Connecticut the temperature went berserk - we had Chi town temperatures and snowfalls. :help:  I must have brought Chicago's weather back with me.

Now the temperature is moderating and looks like we will be back to 6" of snow this week, which is normal for the East Coast by the Long Island Sound. I'm not complaining because it is normal, I just try to acclimate myself to it.

Interesting that I get more uncomfortable with cold weather as I get older. Must be old age creeping up on me.

Such is life.  :punk:

After a mild winter last year Mother Nature is making up for it! 10 degrees here with at least 6 inches of snow on the ground. 60 freeway, our major highway was shut down all last night for ice and snow. Freezing temps until Thursday/Friday.... Now if I can get to and from work tonight....... :hmmm:

But, I love the snow.......

Dan
