Nearly 300 post and 19 pages on a kit that doesn’t even exist yet. That must be a record! Mind you, if I’m honest I can’t wait either

Not to hijack this thread, but I'd rather see a FW-200 than an He-177. For some reason the Lanc is tempting. The prototypes look pretty good to me.

Fw200 circling a convoy for hours, just out of range, and before the days of MACs and CAMs. One fed up escort captain signals the aircraft 'Please circle the other way, you are making us all dizzy'

The Fw obligingly banked, and starting orbiting the other way.....

I'll just say the word 'Lancaster' to keep this post on topic.

My Father told me two things would happen as I got older.
I can't remember either of them....

Agree, the cockpit section looks really nice. Can't wait for this to be released.

Yes, sad that. That's why I hope they include the clear forward fuselage in the kit as per the 1st photo's that were published.

The only difference between the Mk I and Mk III is that the latter had Packard Merlin engines rather than Rolls Royce Merlins, this also meant a different and much coveted tool box. It is probably true to add that Mk IIIs generally had the broad paddle-bladed Hamilton propellers but that alone does not define the Mark.
