petrov27
Yeah I am up for that Whirlwind at least - amazing to see coming in a 1/32 injection kit LSP_K2
David Hansen
I'm definitely up for making the leap on the Tempest II and the Sea Fury. The Whirlwind is one that i'd not mind building.... for someone else. Much like the Tamiya P-51D. But i'm sure Roy has got to be thrilled..... -d- wrbrdmech
scvrobeson
Well, this is just a dream come true. Looks like my next 1/32 build just got announced. Will have to clear the bench for a Whirlwind and Sea Fury Matt wrbrdmech and LSP_K2
cib2265
Sea Fury! Oh yes! That's one on my list, I just built Trumpeter's 1/48 Westland Whirlwind, not the most fun kit, but would consider it in 1/32....but a Sea Fury first! Racer and inflight of course! MikeMaben
I will jump on the high tech Tempest...not a big Whirlwind fan. Biiiill !! I'd jump on the Whirlwind, not a big Tempest fan LSP_K2 and williamj
ZachP319
Well I guess I can let my HC Sea Fury gather dust forms while longer. I keep saying I am going to get the Fisher cockpit and other goodies for it but then I look in the box and my enthusiasm drains away.....: If SH could ameliorate this problem that would be great! 😀 Zach David66

Rick K
well heck. my MDC Tiffy might get done by the time SH release. I'm all in for the Fury, Whirlwind and Typhoon.
Flipper
to Martinnfb: Video is available on youtube, check around 39:20 - of course in Czech language. But these plans were equally confirmed in www.modelforum.cz. I must admit, that releasing Tempest took its time, but tell me honestly - was that time worth waiting for that model? Troy Molitor
Like Rick L just mentioned above, I recently picked up the MDC Typhoon. I'll need to jump into that one for sure. With the recent Yak 3, I'd love to see a Lavochkin -5, 5Fn....Now that would be a bench clearer for me. Troy D Bellis and LSP_K2

mozart
SH have had the balls to produce some of the lesser known types in 1/48th scale like the Airspeed Oxford so let's hope that trend continues in 1/32nd, the Whirlwind is an excellent start. David Hansen
Roy sounds cautiously optimistic, but after the issues with the nose on the Typhoon he remains a bit guarded. Having said that, the issues with the Typhoon nose really aren't that bad. He knows more about the Whirlwind than any other single person i can think of, and it sounds like he's not involved in the project. He made the CooperDetails Vacform model in 48th many years back so his opinion carries considerable weight with me. I think whats at the crux of this is, he'd appreciate being consulted so major gaffes could be avoided; i don't think he's out for Glory or Fortune. But that's just a gut feeling. -d- Harold
