If it was a little farther along you could have used the hull as a canoe!!!!

The house is almost back to normal. We were able to switch out our kitchen linoleum for beautiful stone tiles and our carpet for some lovely laminate floors. It was a crappy situation that ended up for the better. USAA is the best insurance bar none! I decided to take a small break to work on something outside of Wingnut, but stupidly chose a Trumpeter kit that has been anything but relaxing. So, I got back to what I love. Not much today because I'm moving furniture back into place, but I was able to start building up the armament:

I know a plane wouldn't have it's guns out with magazines in on the ramp, but I want to show how this monster was armed so people unfamiliar with it can appreciate the advancements in aviation made during the time period.

Tony, I just peeked in for a view.  Truly gorgeous, Man. Looking great.  Sorry to hear about the floors. We had that happen three years ago when a pipe broke in the wall. Not good.   But we overcame.

Thanks Ernie. It was a bad situation that turned into a blessing.

The sides are going on today!!

I followed up with a fuselage test fit. It seems everything is lining up and the wood effects are to my liking.

Tony,

Glad you are putting the guns on.  For me, guns are a focal point of any model.  That interior looks great.  Saw those fuel tanks and thought about water heaters...  almost started looking for a shower stall.

Keep it up!

Gaz

I haven't looked in for a while but real glad I did today.

Looking great, I really, really like the contrast effect that you have achieved in your wood graining.
