Bruce_Crosby
Hi Guys, Good to see the PCM kits are available again. I have a couple of these kits in the stash, got as far as painting the exhausts and engines then moved onto other projects. Seeing this review has piqued my interest again, so I'll have to put it into the “to do†list in my brain, at about number 150! Hopefully the Ta-152C and the Italian fighters will come back before long. Regards, Bruce Crosby LSP_K2 and Out2gtcha

Mikester
Good review, Ray. You mentioned: "Yellow H" was a late A-4 and was also fitted with the Junkers-style drop tanks on the wings. Maybe those tanks and carriers could be sourced from a Hasegawa or Trumpeter Ju 87 kit. I know the Trumpeter Ju 87A has them in it, which would be a good source as I don't think the Anton was capable of carrying them.". Unfortunately after doing a little digging and looking at the Trumpeter Ju 87A sprues these are not correct for the A-4s that SKG 10 was using, they were using using the aerodynamically faired Junkers mounts as pictured in the photo below. I was hoping we'd have these by now in 1/32 (I provided photos to an aftermarket resin company but they never materialized) but we're still waiting. LSP_Ray
Darn, that would have been an easy way out. There may be hope, though, as this was in Kitlinx's latest newsletter: "We are posting some images of the PCM 1/32 Fw.190A-4/U8 accessories coming shortly to your workbenches. ETC501 bomb rack, SD-250 and SC-250 250kg bombs - with photo-etch fins and decals. The last pieces to complete are the two VTr- Ju.87 drop tank racks with the 300-liter drop tanks. " Yeah, I've wanted to do "Yellow H" forever. The A-5s were equipped with the same style included with latest Revell 190F-8 so you could pillage those but still SOL for the A-4s. LSP_Ray
Hmmm...I re-checked my Ju87A kit and you are right; they are not the aerodynamic ones. I did not look close enough. I thought those were the later style mounts, like you said they used on later Jabo a/c, so was thinking in the early Ju87 they would be the early ones. Hopefully PCM/Kitlinx will come through for you.
