SinuheH
Hi gents I originally planned on building a captured 109 in SAAF colours, but at the moment have a penchant for jets…… this is my planned entry: I waiting my decals and refs to arrive. Look forward to seeing other contributions. S Edited January 26, 2014 by SinuheH

SinuheH
It's been a while since I installed an AM resin pit… and I soon realised why….. i. That sickly smell….. ii. Sometimes the fit leaves much to be desired. I started off following the BB suggestion, to trim the resin casting block such that it would "fit". Well by the time, I was done, the floor of the resin pit looked like this…. Fortunately, that is quickly dealt with with some plastic card [url=http://s44.photobucket.com/user/Saaffan/media/F-16-BB2_zps57d26396.jpg.html][/u RL] Actually, it was pretty much plain sailing after this…. SinuheH
The next part was hacking off the back plate of the cockpit, to install their nice resin detail To ensure that it was secure, I added a strip of plastic card Jamme
SinuheH
The next was was to remove the front cockpit coaming….. same procedure as last year…. Then adding the display and base (secured with plastic sprue) The ejection seat needed to be trimmed to fit…. And then the cockpit sides were added Starting to look smart Thanks for dropping by…. cheers and have a great 2014!
