alaninaustria
With the cannon mounts..... so basically brutal this gun bird... Still some sanding to be done....
alaninaustria
And a test fit of the 37mm guns....Hasegawa has done a great job on these cannons... amazing to think that a direct hit from the hardened core munition (Tungsten) could bring a T-34 to a stand still..... alaninaustria
And with the cockpit all stuffed into the main fuselage.... great fit and excellently engineered..... esp. the cables!!
alaninaustria
And lastly... with the fwd and rear cockpit decking.... Thanks Hasegawa for such a great kit!! Hope you guys enjoyed the update... Cheers Alan P.s for those wondering.... that is Tamiya tape holding the cables together and is secured with a small application of Future to seal it togeter... if you rub the cable bundles a bit with your fingers the heat generated will allow it to take the shape you desire.... next up is to tackle the fwd cockpit area and the pilot's seat... the kit part is rather basic so I thought I might scratch one with all the rivets etc... time will tell!! Guest LSP_Jay L
And a test fit of the 37mm guns....Hasegawa has done a great job on these cannons... amazing to think that a direct hit from the hardened core munition (Tungsten) could bring a T-34 to a stand still..... when hit from the top.... Nice work on the wiring ( as well as everything else for that matter! ) I like the idea of using stretched sprue. It would make fixing it in place a hell of alot easier.
