Despite what you may read to the left of this message, my real name is Charles Metz and I live near Chicago, Illinois, USA. I visit LSP because many of the people here have become "virtual friends" and because I like to talk about, buy kits etc. of, and sometimes even build 1/32-scale models of WW II aircraft. Per Larry's request, here's a photo of my hobby room in which my too-messy-to-be-shown workbench is hidden behind the shelves on your left:

Hi from the other side of the globe. Jason Moores is the name and Gold Coast Australia is the place for the batcave, a converted single car garage. A bit if a shrine to the plastic aeroplane. The look on peoples faces is priceless when the first stick their head in the door.

Hello from newbiesville....

I'm Nick Mayhew, and I live in Sissinghurst in Kent (the original Kent, so that will be England to those that don't know  )

My hobby room is our loft / study, but doesn't have much in it at the moment, as I have just sold off pretty much my entire 1/48 stash of aircraft (made redundant a few weeks back and need to raise some cash B) ).

Still, every cloud has a silver lining: it has spurred me to make the change to 1/32 and 1/24 which i have been thinking about for a number of years now.

Main interests are Battle of Britain and planes fighting over / based in WWII Czechoslovakia - my fiancee is from the Czech Republic.

Kind regards,

Nick

Good morning folks, I am Barry Chandler and I live in Savannah, GA in the good old USA.

After years of no place, garages, attics and basements I now have a sanctuary of my own.

Hi all, I'm James Knaus (Hagar). I live in Cold Lake Alberta Canada and model primarily German WWII and Canadian aircraft, although anything exotic or colourful is fair game. Despite my proximity to the base I find it hard to do modern Canadian.

Here's the stash a couple of years back which takes up 1/3 of my cave.

This is from my pre 1/32 days so just imagine the same but bigger boxes

MY name is Hubert Boillot, living in France, in Chambery, in the French Alps.

After many years where modelling was on and off, but mostly off, due to work pressure and lack of permanent space, I have found a modus vivendi by sharing my desk in two halves, one for home and family business, and one for modelling.

One photo here :

The on-going project is actually not an airplane, but a ship, more on this build HERE

Hey All

Andy is my name, I am currently deployed, but one month to go, so everything I own is in storage, just lots of time to research and buy off ebay etc. I am returning to Canberra Australia when my time is done, and already dreading what the built kits will look like (won't be pretty) when they finally see the light of day again. Normally, being just me myself and I, I use a spare room for my builds.. that's the plan, though my love of big kits is making things a little cramped.
