I love deadlines. I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by.

For shuttle fans, watch this video with some external speakers and turn the volume to maximum.

You'll thank me later.

Wow, both videos were great to watch. I too miss the Space Shuttle flights. I lament that my sons will not get to see them.

Later,

Lee

The Shuttle was impressive but Apollo was breathtaking!

My own video I made awhile ago celebrating the Shuttle and Saturn V - but I'm more excited about the future with BFR from SpaceX:

This video is fantastic!

Very well edited/matched to the music and I loved the music choice!

A friend I know worked for Marion Power and Shovel Company who built the Tractor Crawler and the LUT complex for Apollo. He was based at the Cape and was lucky enough to witness every Apollo and Shuttle launch. That is some milestone.

Thanks - I made it awhile ago, would edit it slightly differently now with a few more cuts. Might do a special one on the Falcon Heavy soon...

I feel the same way about Concorde.

But watching a pair of booster rockets land back within a couple of hundred yards apart is freaking awesome!!

My Father told me two things would happen as I got older.
I can't remember either of them....
