Yep its exactly the same here in NZ ,both are about the similar money .The airfix kit is abot 20-30- dollars more but it depends were you get it from .The 24th kit is a bit larger though .

Nope, heard 'talk' about it long ago,  but like you say Nick, I consider 'everything' vaporware until I see at least some CAD.

A question. Why there is a huge hole at the leading edge of the left wing. Is it the installation point for BSK 16 ? If so , why is it there? Is it because of this picture?

 

Doesn't the Rustsatz IV, supposed to be installed  as shown on this picture?

Possible: yes but easily: no! If the shapes are identical you will have to change a lot of surface details, notwithstanding most of the cockpit...
