Just read through your entire thread, Tom. What a great build and it’s obvious that you’re getting the best out of this kit.

I finally managed to get one of these kits myself and hope to get in to it at some point in the future. Having your build as a reference will help me to know what to expect with potential fit issues and what to look out for so thank-you!

Keep up the great work and I look forward to seeing ‘er with some camouflage paintwork on.

Cheers,

Wolf

Wolf, Thank you, that is flattering! Your epic builds have inspired me for years so it’s an honor to reciprocate.

An amazing Fw-190 is getting build here, hats off!

Thank you so much! Your builds have certainly inspired me as well.

Right now painting is going very slowly due to time constraints and I want to approach this paint scheme methodically. I have almost all of the masks ready however. For those of you following I appreciate your patience!

Cheers,  Tom

I just went through your entire build thread Tom and mighty impressive it is!  Your work on the engine and the riveting looks especially good.  If the ZM 190 in my stash wins the coin toss after I finish the Camel, I will be using your thread as a reference.

You are very kind! I’ve really enjoyed the build and just need to get my act together and paint it. Your work has inspired me so much over the years I’m just glad to reciprocate.

...And I'm back with this build. Since I started this build ZM has released a version that includes my original subject aircraft:

And me being me I decided to switch my subject aircraft to this:

The A-4 belonging to Major Hubertus Von Bonin, summer of 1943. In order to do so I had to create new masks:

I also had to remove the outer cannons and replace the wing covers and hatches, a little tricky since the ones I originally used were glued in place, I'm happy to report this was successful:

I'm glad to be back with this build, and for the first time in many years I'm finishing up another LSP as well, a Cyberhobby BF-109E-4. I hope to have both of them completed in the coming weeks.

Cheers,  Tom
