Troy Molitor Posted February 14, 2024 Posted February 14, 2024 I'm sure Yohei Hinoki san would certainly approve! Lovely efforts going on here Dave. Martinnfb 1

denders Posted February 16, 2024 Author Posted February 16, 2024 Thanks guys! The propeller needs a clear coat and then a little bit of weathering. And the canopy pieces are masked. Spent several hours getting masks made. Of course, since it's a resin modification, the pieces aren't mirror images. Next is clear coat before any weathering. And paint for the canopy pieces. I'm not going to attempt to mask the inside of the canopy pieces. I don't expect to get much accomplished tomorrow, the grandsons are going to be here. MikeMaben, nmayhew, chrish and 10 others 13

denders Posted February 28, 2024 Author Posted February 28, 2024 Thanks, Gaz! I'm trying to get it done. Landrotten Highlander, LSP_Kevin, Panzerwomble and 1 other 4
Gazzas Posted February 28, 2024 Posted February 28, 2024 Looks great. I’ve always wondered about this plane. The Japanese said that it was the best of their fighters, but it was decidedly slower than the Ki-84. And with their poor fuel situation at the end, it is a wonder how they could test anything accurately.
denders Posted February 29, 2024 Author Posted February 29, 2024 Thanks, Gaz! I think I'm going to call this one done. I'm not sure how soon for good photos. Out2gtcha, HK_sends, Borsos and 13 others 15 1
