Ryan
I have started many a build log, lets hope this one takes! Anywho, here is the start of my Mirage build, btw swapped image hosting site so lets see if I can even upload the images! IP panel had some wide gaps that I wasn't good with so filled with plastic card. Furie
Escadron de chasse 1/3 Navarre, base aérienne 133 Nancy-Ochey. Main mission anti-radar attack, with AS.37 Martel missiles. And I too am looking forward to the sequel! Edited March 10, 2023 by Furie Ryan

Stokey Pete
Gotta love a Mirage build. It’s a tough choice between the ‘III’ and the ‘2000C’ for prettiest looking fast jet type. Mark P, Buster99 and Ryan
Ryan
More unpainted cockpit shots as I clean up more parts. Very impressed with the sidewall and bulkhead detail. The detail is a mix of soft and hard…with ragged seams to dress. The plastic is soft and easy to sand, carve, or over correct! Ryan
Painting time, I also had to replace some tiny buttons….my favorite scratch build operation! Iain, themongoose, LSP_Kevin and 6 others
themongoose
I see what you mean about hard and soft detail in the cockpit. Looks like your attention to detail will clean that up tho Ryan
Furie
Hi Ryan, if this helps: http://spotaero.blogspot.com/2011/01/chez-ealc.html Denis, for whom the Mirage III E was the first "pointu" (sharp) on which he worked... Furie
A la chasse, bordel ! But damn, what a beautiful plane! 1/3 Navarre + 2x1700L + Martel Matra + Phimat nacelle under the right wing and most certainly Thomson-CSF Barracuda nacelle under the left wing. My "escadron" : 1/13 Artois, BA 132 Colmar - Meyenheim : Everything is here, with a lot of pictures of Mir III E of 1/3 Navarre : http://bdd.deltareflex.com/cns_galerie.php?typ=Mirage+III+E&tri=inf_a Edited March 11, 2023 by Furie Martinnfb, Buster99, MikeMaben and 7 others 9

alain11
Hi if I was you , ..............but I am not .. I think that the cockpit deserves at least some etched parts from Eduard ......I agree that this cockpit is tiny , narrow ......and black , but the Eduard AM brings a touch of color Alain
