Is that shareable? Cheers Iain Great idea! The drawing is now available from the catalog as a *.jpg file for free download (click here). I saw that Pete had to make a size adjustment to the drawing. Good to know. This means that depending on your printer's settings and some other technical factors, your printer may not print this drawing at the correct scale. When printed at the correct scale, the floor should be 134 mm long. If necessary, adjust your printer's size setting so that the floor in the printed drawing is 134 mm long to match the size of your model. Also note that no plywood was fit to the triangular flooring sections over the cannons. Christa, Derek B, Pete Fleischmann and 6 others 7 2

Much appreciated! @Pete Fleischmann thanks for the info on the scaling - it'll definitely save time and effort down the line! Model_Monkey, Pete Fleischmann, Derek B and 1 other 4
Pete Fleischmann Posted February 5, 2023 Author Posted February 5, 2023 Few more odds and ends.. interestingly; it seems the observers seat may have only had a lap belt? Still researching that.. cheers P chukw, mc65, IainM and 28 others 30 1

scvrobeson Posted February 6, 2023 Posted February 6, 2023 Seems relatively normal for the rear observer/gunner to only have a lap belt. I think the Stuka had the same. Your work is exemplary Pete, but we all knew that. Matt Pete Fleischmann and Martinnfb 1 1

Pete Fleischmann Posted February 6, 2023 Author Posted February 6, 2023 (edited) Need to start getting my head around making a new canopy. I made an RTV cast of the Lodella Vac clear parts, as well as the Revell canopy. From these, I’ll make a female RTV mold and cast a master in resin. neither of these canopies are the correct shape; so I’ll reshape the resin castings from these to get the correct shape, then vac form new clear parts. The Lodella parts included the aft bubble with the gun. Also not correct for my Mk VIf; and the Revell part is oversized. I may be able to reshape the Lodella resin copy - we’ll see cheers Pete Edited February 6, 2023 by Pete Fleischmann Speling Landrotten Highlander, airscale, Model_Monkey and 14 others 17
airscale Posted February 6, 2023 Posted February 6, 2023 looking incredible Pete - good luck with the canopies, your approach is spot on I reckon i have no idea why Revell made them the framed version that literally only 50 aircraft had.. Derek B and Martinnfb 2
