I'm so tempted to just throw this one in the bin just now.

Touching up an area where the green 'snake' fuselage squadron marking is too long and was over the tailplane, has resulted in part of the main decal pulling away...

So - do I purchase a 3rd decal sheet - or just give up and put it down as a 'practice' build.

Sometimes this really isn't a 'relaxing' hobby...  :(

And deeeeeep breath...

Another sheet of decals ordered from Hannants - let's see if 3rd time lucky.

Just occasionally a simple project does all it can to bite - this has been one of those projects.

Well, fingers crossed, toes too it's third time lucky, hats off for not binning it, some of the other decal options look pretty good, as a fall back...

I feel your pain, Iain! The Tiger Moth is driving me insane right now, and has nearly met with the Hammer of Doom several times already. It has taken over a week just to rig one side, with struts coming loose, rigging lines letting go, anchor points being closed over and having to be replaced ... etc ... so I certainly understand where you're coming from!

Very happy to see this build continue.  Let's hope it's third time lucky for you.  Digits and other bits crossed.

Cheers,

Michael

I don't think ICM do a Bulldog, although no doubt it would make quite a few people happy if they did.

Seriously: good luck Iain, you can bring this one over the finish line, and I look forward to seeing it when you do.

Perhaps you should take some time out and visit Shuttleworth, our Gladiator would probably give you some extra inspiration to finish it off.
