I don't think that's out of line, no. But without a settled price yet, I'm not going to offer that up quite yet. But when the time is right, I'll mention that to him :-)

   That's acceptable, thanks Dennis.

Its good news as well for those of us who only have one Tamiya Spit available, given their cost:huh:.

Yeah, the prices on the Tamiya spits is still kind of on the high side, though deals can still be found here and there. I 'm a little surprised considering the age of them[not that they're old]

Time for another update. Here's the latest:

"More work on the duct stuffing. Still need to add panels and rivets inside, but most of the shapes are there. I have also printed several prototypes to work out the wing to radiator fit. I will spare you the numerous fails and semi ok, to jump directly to the quite acceptable current, I still need to tweak it a little more, but it’s showable. Lastly, the retractable tail wheel is finally getting some love too. Cheers."

Here's today's update:

Starting to look the thing! No big step forward. But this session of test assembly and make it fly with a Rooooaaaar quite motivated me. Blades are good to go in tolerances, another cross on the list. Only tape and slight pressure on the assemblies, no glue."

I mean, is it even a question about getting one of these? What a hot rod.

It looks very good! Do we have any word yet if decals are being provided?

Mark Proulx

Mark, he made indications when I asked that either decals or masks would also be provided. He mentioned a specific RAF airframe (MV348, Violet Dorothy III), and I have to imagine since he's based in Belgium, that we'll see a Belgian option as well.
