New Group Build starting December 1st - Turning Japanese

As the title suggests, it is any and all aircraft in Japanese markings. Captured aircraft in Japanese markings and those on the civil register are included.  Hope to see you in the group build!

These are such cool airplanes. To me, they look like they drew inspiration from sharks. They are kinda like a 109... big engine with a little bit of airplane strapped to it.

Great project Pete - I am working on a similar jet but in different camo. I am combining the front end of the F-15E Tamiya kit with the rear end of the F-15C. Its a rather expensive way to go but the parts fit of course - And I will be left with enough parts to build an Israeli F-15C Baz with conformal fuel tanks..

 

Take a look at this: http://partsrparts.homestead.com/F15parts.html  - Bruce is selling some conversion parts to make an F-15D (instrument panel etc) well worth the money.

I have the exact same plan. I believe IsraDecal have ‘Baz’ markings in the pipeline for release. I recall that the SkyDecals ones are as rare as rocking horse dung.
