'groovy'

 😁😂

Was and wuzent kidding. As Rich pointed out, all the noise of stencils etc and two kits in folded echelon on the display shelf would negate the Missouri irrigation. 'Cept that ca.1972 Coral Sea or Midway birds would be devoid of most panel data and semi-gloss, whereas the corresponding Js might be matt and covered in McAir helvetica.

Certainly would be impressive. But then again, it is impossible for any F-4 to be anything less! 👍👍👍👍

It is listed on Hannants as a future product. - The EU importer is Ammo by MIG and they have said they would receive a shipment mid July.

I don´t think it will be available anywhere before that.

Dash Two 32-003 has gone to microscale. Should be available in 6-8 weeks.

Will it be available via your EU seller; Aero-Spezial?

It looks great but just want to avoid excessive import and customs fees

Yes, it should be available at Aero-Spezial. Hoping to also expand with more distributers as I have more sheets coming up the pipeline!

Randomly saw this on FB... an error on the Red Pill instructions has caused at least one builder to mount the US insignia backwards...

Admirably, the builder bit the bullet and made the necessary corrections but let's be careful out there.

Nevermind.

Yes, Sundowner tail markings underwent a brief downgrade during the 1973 cruise, before restoring to full “rising sun” glory a year or two later with F-4N’s.

Such a large tail emblem, it would seem, favors a pre-cut mask over conventional water slide decals.

DN Models do one in 1:48. Perhaps they’ll consider up gauging the set.

Best of luck! Not yet, but not long now.

I think our best avenue is the big H in Lowestoft, though they're not noted for bargain prices. (Ask for a gift voucher while she's still feeling generous.)

I'm pushing up my budget to £325 on condition of rave reviews about the plastic (literally — soft is a turn-off), but stretching beyond that is extremely doubtful as there's a Cutting Edge conversion lurking here that needs only an £85 F-4J and some Red Fox or Quinta — or adapted Babibi — and most of the new decals will likely fit the Japanese model with minimal effort.

The only problem I am seeing is that Hannants in the UK have no idea yet what their sticker price will be until the kits actually arrive, so do we pre-order "blind" or take a chance we'll miss out if we don't.

I'm still convinced there may be a cheaper edition to follow after Redpill have sold 2,000, with plastic LG legs and basic 2D cockpit instrument decals and one set of markings with minimal stencilling. So might wait and see. There's the Revell T.7 Hunter and Kōtare Hurricane plus 1:48 Airfix FG.1 and 1:48 DBMK Scimitar (the last quarter inch scale kits I'll ever buy) also coming out this Summer-Autumn. Which in some ways is all a bit too much!
