Dandiego
Thanks to a few dollars coming in from Vigilante sales I have ordered a new printer. It is an Ender 3 S1 Pro. It should improve print quality and has a much larger print volume. It is still a filament printer. I just didn't feel comfortable buy a liquid resin printer. Didn't want to go through a whole new learning curve. All future prints will be done on the new machine. Hoping for larger, better quality prints. themongoose
That’s going to save you some time for sure. I bet with the reduced filling and sanding time you start another vac I totally agree with your thoughts on coming up the learning curve again. Dandiego
Here is the rear section added to the main fuselage. And I have boxed in the cockpit area. Dan chukw, Memphis, LSP_Kevin and 6 others
Dandiego
Inner wing sections have been added. Vertical tails are printing as I type. Slat recesses are separate parts and will be added to the forward edge of the wing when they are printed. As this is the prototype it is intended as a shape and fit tester. Although things are going well I have found a few issues to correct as I go forward. Dan LSP_Kevin, denders, Greg W and 9 others
Dandiego
Tails, first look. As you would think a dramatic shift in the center of gravity. Will have to rethink adding extra weights near the nose. Dan daveculp, Memphis, Jim Barry and 10 others

My little project has been fun and rewarding. However your F-22 is awesome. An 88 hour print for the fuselage, impressive. Citadelgrad
Shaping up, it looks right to me. Any thoughts on a B 57.... Dandiego
Dandiego
I have a separate thread in LSP discussion asking for ideas for future projects. B-57 has come up as have about 40 others. There is no clear front runner at the moment. So you never know.... Dan Citadelgrad
Dandiego
Outer wing panels. Looks good to me. However always improvements to be made. Dan LSP_Kevin, johncrow, Landrotten Highlander and 10 others
dutik
Impressive And it looks at the moment like some kind of scifi starship or anime aircraft: These shapes, the surface textures, the weird mix of grey and black and red colors Regards - dutik Dandiego

Dan I think you’re gonna run into the same thing model companies run into, everybody wants something different! So far doing what you like to do has worked out real well and the builds look terrific. People seem to like it, obviously as you got some good sales going! Just keep doing what you do buddy would be my suggestion Edited December 25, 2022 by themongoose
Dandiego
Yep everyone has a different favorite. There have been a few choices that have risen to the top. I will let the thread run a few more days and do a recap for everyone. Dan
