Another masterpiece John.  I'd love to see a photo of your display case just to see all of these beauties together in one place.

Looking forward to the P-47, which will be up to your usual exquisite level.

Matt

Thank you very much!  It was fun but good to be done with Doras for a while!

Par excellence!

Thank you for sharing

And as always- can't have too many Fw190s

Thanks alot John! Obviously, my love for Tank's Dora goes very deep and I'm glad to add the big tail version to the completed list.

So nice to dwell on and take everything in. Loads of excellent features and weathering to enjoy!

Wonderful work here John, loved the build thread as well.

Thank you Greg!  Glad you enjoyed the build!

Very nicely done indeed John. Love the very contrasting schemes......

Cheers Bevan

Thank you Bevan!  Interestingly, if you look back on it the base camo of Yellow 10 resembled Brown 4 prior to the field-applied mottling.

Another stunning build John.  I love seeing it next to the D-13.  :clap2:

Thanks Troy!  Two late war Doras... it's an interesting contrast!

I think this is my favorite of yours so far John- it is a stunner! I love this scheme; and the weathering is spot on-

thanks for sharing

edit: but that Boyington F4U-1A was ridiculously good too

cheers

Pete

Thanks Pete! Honored that you like this build.  I'm not very knowledgeable about choppers but I remember being totally amazed at your stupendous Pavehawk... those camo uniforms on the soliders!!!

Hi John,

Outstanding result in every aspects! Paint work is brilliant.  If I dare a suggestion: You obviously put a lot of efforts to break paint uniformity - I think the riveting could be made less uniform, with areas such as behind the exhausts, wing roots and belly more apparent than others such as wing outer portions or horizontal stabilisers. This can be easily done with selective application of washes.
