I think I will get one at this price to try it out but from the images alone I would prefer the Fly! Hurricanes. They have an underserved bad reputation and the surface detail is way ahead of the revell offering. But great to finally have a Hurricane in 1/32 from a major manufacturer. Quite unbelievable that it took so long

Anyone notice the tropical filter on the sprue in those shots. North Africa build here I come. This will complete my Hurricane needs. As an aside, I did a IIC with Grey Matters conversion out of the PCM kit a number of years ago in SEA camo.

Could be but I trust the Revell would be more modeller-friendly than the Fly. Don’t ask me how I know.

What seems to be lacking are some clear flat laid out sprue shots, but from what can be seen it all very impressive, and set up for multiple versions, as the separate fuselage and wing sprues indicate

Looks like lots of effort put into parts layout to ensure a number of Hurricane variants in the future. Nice!

 

A Mk I feasible as I see the two fuselage halves are placed in a stand alone separate tree.

Indeed, One-oh-four and I have had a good look at the built op model. It looked great.

also two canopies, one of which is intended to portray the slid back hood.

The Revell representative confirmed that a Mk I will follow.

Looks like a real winner for Revell…..and Radu of course! I can see a lot of interesting builds being done, LSP is going to be a lively place.

Anyone know if different propeller options are planned? If not, I'm sure the aftermarket people will step up.

I see a lower fuselage insert fora Sea Hurricane in there too.  I see a good number of Hurricanes in my future if Revell follow through with multiple releases of what looks to be possible there with the Tropical Filter seen too.

This is turning out to be a kit of many marks - I feel a dedicated shelf on it's way in my hobby room !   Anyone want my Fly kits ???

My finger will be on the "buy" button straight away if a Sea Hurricane appears, which looking at the sprues is highly likely.
