I’m not calling myself a figure painter yet, but I learned a lot with this one. Almost done- a few touch ups and call her good enough! I also learned figure painting through studying Shep Paine's techniques and I still use oils to paint faces. I have never gotten the hang of using acrylics to paint faces and you certainly are well on your way to mastering using them. I have a friend who is an awesome figure painter, the guy is color blind. He takes all the awards at any show he attends, I have no idea how he paints the tartans.
