RCAF Liberator GR Mk VI

Here's my RCAF Liberator. It's the Hobby Boss B-24J kit. I added the Profimodeler belly radome, Cold War Studio resin turrets and Master barrels. Cockpit details are from an Eduard set. I didn't attempt to fix the wing profile but I did fill in the upper turret opening.

The pics aren't the best as the plane is a bit of a challenge to move around.

I'll try and get some better pics outdoors where there a bit more room once the weather improves.

nice to see these schemes being built

i have those turrets too and they do look reasonably good

it's such a shame that the lack of the correct Bolton Paul rear turret limits the number of aircraft you can make severely - your finish is too clean for my taste but it's certainly inspiring me to keep wanting to build mine in those colours

thanks for sharing

Thanks everyone! I'm happy with the way it turned out. I had a couple setbacks but they were self-inflicted.

Looks amazing!  Those Cold War Studios turrets make a tremendous difference! Did you replace the oversize tires? (tyres? Wheels?)  Happy to see one of these completed--gives me hope that it can be done.

I used the Eduard resin wheels. I didn't really trust the kit's rubber ones.
