JimRice
Anyone know of any large scale Curtiss Jenny? Seems to be a dearth of kits in most scales that aren’t decades old.
LSP_Ron
To the best of my knowledge it has never been done in 1/32. Lindberg did one in 1/48th, I think I have one of those somewhere. Model Airways does one in 1/16th that looks really nice. https://modelexpo-online.com/Model-Airways-CURTISS-JN--4D-JENNY-116-SCALE_p_680.html JimRice, Kagemusha and scvrobeson
LSP_Mike
Many thought it a natural for WNW, but no joy. As Ron says above, remarkably under represented in any scale. JimRice and scvrobeson
Kagemusha
Maybe Copper State will do one. scvrobeson

It was never considered as it was a trainer.Yet a prototype UWD was released... scvrobeson
vince14
If anyone is going to do a Jenny in 1/32 it'll either be ICM, Copper State, or maybe Roden. scvrobeson
JimRice
Given its history as both a trainer and even more so the Barnstorming era, at least in US, it seems extremely under-represented. Perhaps the extensive rigging makes people shy away. It would be daunting, but I love biplanes. KiwiZac

Yet, we've got kits of the Dh.2, Fe.2b, Caudrons, and the Felixstowe. Matt KiwiZac
vince14
I think the problem manufacturers might have with kitting the Jenny is that, outside of North America, it's a fairly obscure aircraft - certainly less well-known than the Avro 504. However, if Roden do indeed produce the Avro 504 that they've indicated is in their pipeline and it sells well then a Jenny might be worth them considering (although I hear that sales of their SPAD XIII were disappointing).
